North American Executive Director

Craig first connected with NCV in 2011 on a mission trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia, and felt a strong calling from God to return and help serve. Over the years, he returned for longer volunteer stints, deepening his connection with the children and the foundation. Craig holds a Master’s Degree in Global Development and has worked with other organizations focused on child welfare and community development in East Africa and other parts of Latin America. He and his wife, Dina, live in Victoria, BC, Canada and have recently welcomed their first child. Craig enjoys hockey, soccer and being in nature in his spare time. 

Board Chair

Laurel first visited the children at Ninos con Valor in 2008 with her husband Dave and her two children Ellie and Drew who were 8 and 6 at the time. Laurel and her family have been actively involved with Ninos con Valor ever since included four more subsequent visits. Laurel began her role as Board Chair in January 2023.  Laurel lives in Seattle, Washington where she recently retired from a her career at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, managing the finances and facilities.  Prior to this, Laurel worked in corporate finance at Procter & Gamble and public accounting for Arther Andersen LLC.  Laurel loves hiking, backpacking and enjoying the beautiful PNW as well as time with her beloved dogs, Otis and Stella. 

Board Member

Andrew first learned about and became involved with NCV through their partnership at his church, Restoration Anglican Church in Arlington, Virginia. He fell in love with the children of NCV through his participation in a number of mission trips to Cochabamba, Bolivia and has been a member of the NCV US board since 2020. Andrew is a bilingual (Spanish) school psychologist in the public schools. Andrew is currently on the missions committee and leads a prayer group for Bolivian mission partners at Restoration. Andrew and his wife Diana have 2 young children and are also foster parents of an adult-aged daughter. Andrew’s ideal day would include watching a baseball game, a hike/bike ride, and trying a new restaurant or brewery.

Church Relations

Elizabeth provides connection from Ninos Con Valor to the church partners who actively support NCV through prayers and resources. Elizabeth just moved back to her hometown of Asheville, North Carolina after spending 15 years as the Administrative Assistant to the Missions Department at Bellevue Presbyterian Church. She developed a connection to NCV when supporting teams from Bellevue who traveled to Cochabamba and interacting with Tyson to grow support and connection with BelPres Church. She loves the holistic focus that NCV provides for each child nurturing them through all life stages and needs.

Elizabeth and her husband, Steve, are enjoying getting out in the mountains of WNC and rediscovering the area. They have 4 adult children who live on the west coast and Texas.

Board Secretary

Beth has served as Secretary since 2023 and has been a Ninos con Valor sponsor since 2015. She lives in Seattle, Wa and was first introduced to NCVs work by her dear friend Laurel Fortin many years ago. Beth works as a community economic development manager for a small city in Western Washington. She has two adult sons and loves to hike and hang out in her garden in her free time.
