The first week back to school in the homes is always a flurry of binding and covering books. In Bolivia, kids must bring all of their own school supplies (paper, pencils, books, etc). Nothing is provided by the school. This doesn’t sound like a big deal until you see the piles of papers and notebooks to be bound and meticulously covered and decorated with paper casing.
