How long are team mission trips?
Team trips are typically 7 to 10 days but can be extended depending on budget and trip itinerary.
How much will it cost?
Trip costs vary based on the number of participants and type of accommodation, but teams should budget approximately $1,000 to $2,000 USD per person (excluding airfare). This covers all in-country expenses, including food, lodging, transportation, excursions, and project materials. We can customize trips depending on budget and team needs.
What kind of work projects and activities will we be doing?
Team activities vary based on current needs and team skill sets. Past teams have helped with painting and maintenance projects, organized children’s activities, support caregivers, assist with tutoring, or lead workshops for staff and teens.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
No, but it helps! Translators will be available when needed, and we encourage basic Spanish phrases to enhance connection with the children and staff.
Is it safe to travel in Bolivia?
Yes, we prioritize safety. You’ll be accompanied by local staff and stay in secure accommodations. We also follow local health and safety guidelines closely.
Can families and kids join the trip?
Yes! We welcome intergenerational teams and can customize roles so all ages feel involved and supported. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Will we have time to explore the city or culture?
Yes, we usually schedule time for cultural outings, local markets, and sightseeing to give teams a more comprehensive experience of Bolivia.
