The past month has been filled with several special visits from long-time friends. For me, it has been a joy to meet Tía Carla, Tía Jeanette, and Tía Sarah–three heartfelt and inspiring young women who have made it a priority to return to visit their NCV family every couple of years. As I am already beginning to dread leaving my “home” in Bolivia, it is reassuring to think about coming back.

For nearly three weeks, Tía Carla filled the homes with her bubbling enthusiasm.

Tía Jeanette and Tío Matt’s visit was brief but sweet. They brought lots of laughs to all of the kids, joined the girls for runs in the park, caught up with the older girls now living in their own apartment, shared with the other tías, donated two bikes for Corazón del Pastor, and much more. What a treat to have them here!

Thank you Jeanette and Matt!

Three years ago, Tía Sarah came on a mission trip with a team from the Living Waters Church. We are lucky to have her back, now as a volunteer!
