Life in Bolivia is a guarantee to have many opportunities to practice patience. Our current opportunity is waiting on a new transformer to arrive from La Paz. It was very frustrating to have Guillermo have to undergo anesthesia only to have the transformer blow and not be able to do the procedure. We’ve been told that they are expecting the new one to arrive by Thursday this week.

Not wanting to be pessimistic, but the reality here is that very few things actually happen in their original timeframe. The positive side of this scenario is that it’s giving Guillermo time to recuperate from a chest cold, so maybe there’s some providential wisdom in all of this that we’re not seeing- hence the need for patience, and trust.

Join us in prayer that the equipment will arrive on time, that Guillermo will be healthy enough for the procedure, and that all the equipment will function properly. Thanks again for your continual support and prayers!
